ARTIST STATEMENT:

​

My intention is to bring a little joy and exuberance out of the spaces my work resides in whether temporary or permanent. Though I depict various subject matters, I generally like to use bright colors and play with textures to create visual interest in a more contemporary approach. I want my work to remind the viewer of the fun, visual excitement a child experiences when absorbing this world for the first time. Each brush stroke, or gesture is made with this passion for life that I want to share. Whether it is from an acrylic painting, print, collage, photo or mural... I want the viewer leaving smiling
